This book was an okay interracial. I just wish the author had done her research on Scottish lilt, especially if she wanted the hero to by an authentic Scottish purist who stuck to their traditions. Three were also a few confusing parts where the point of view between the hero, heroine and the narrator changed without notice and the incorrect us of pronouns. There wasn't enough character building or world building. There were attempts at other plots that were simply mentioned but not touched on again. The twist between the heroine and her mother confused me a bit. Everyone dealt with their feelings so quickly with everything that came out. Just wasn't realistic. The author started off well in the beginning but the middle and end got watered down, rushed and confusing.

I love reading L.B.Keen, and I enjoyed this plot line, but this felt like a rough draft with the continual POV errors. Some paragraphs were third and first person simultaneously.
This was a great paranormal romance novel. Ewan and Argo's romance came from an arrangement from her greedy father. And her mother/sister Cora was a evil woman!!!! I truly was hoping that Argo had killed her. Great book L. B. Keen!!!!!
This story was very interesting to read. A young girl grows up in a family that she thought was hers but find out it wasn't. A father that wasn't her real father, that treated her like a servant and the mother, whom she thought was her mother was her sister. Man this book h as some twist and turns. Read if you dare.
This could have been an engaging story, but an editor was sorely needed. The narrative moved from first to third person in the same sentence too many times. I had to reread sentences just to figure out who was speaking. I hope the editing can be updated, because this could be a good story.
great story but the editing was rough. made it hard to keep up. had to re-read pages a few times to understand. switching between first and third tense/person. no clear distinction between paragraphs of whose speaking. no smooth transition or indication of a new scene.
BUT a good story. Enjoyed the chemistry between h&h. liked that the heroine showed some strength even when treated poorly. interesting story/good read.

Loved the story and the characters. So many twists and turns at the end, my head spun. My only issue was with the grammatical errors. There were times when you weren't sure whose perspective you were reading, not to mention, the author would flip from first to third person easily, and sometimes within the same sentence. A little consistency would be nice. Overall, I loved the story; it just needed better grammer and proofreading.
The story was quite interesting and a total new take on the werewolf tales I have read previously. I enjoyed the book but it was difficult to follow. The writer kept jumping one person's perception to another. This made it difficult to follow. I liked the plot twist and the characters but I believe this is a new writer and the story needed a tad bit of polishing. I almost want to say the editor should have caught some of this. Regardless there is promise and a great future for this artist. I would recommend the book especially for the price.
