I read this book in one day, it was that good. It took me 30 minutes to stop crying like a baby so I could write a review. I k ow one thing, we need more men like REV in the world. This hot gritty biker with a secret past was the sweetest most honorable man, it made the reader want someone just like him. This story was hard to read at times because of the storyline but also kept me wanting to keep reading for the outcome. The story takes a jump in action when REV and his club go to Mexico to rescue Breakneck's daughter Sarah who has be taken by cartel involved in human trafficking. With the help of a fellow club, they bust thru the compound full of smoke and check each room but cannot find Sarah. REV hears moans coming from a room and finds a girl beat badly and bleeding and him being the protector he is becomes this girl's savior. He picks this girl up to take her to safety just as he sees a building exploding not far from him, but he keeps running with this girl to get outside the gates. He asks her for a name and it's Annabel she whispers to him. She is close to death as him and the club try to get her to a hospital in Mexico before she dies. I don't wAnt to give away to much about what happens after they get Annabel to the hospital, because their story takes off from there. So this is a must read, it's thrilling,romantic, full of twists and turns, that will leave you on the edge of your seat to finish it. Thumbs up to Katie Ashley on another mind blowing book and cannot wait until Bishops story.

WOW what an emotional, explosive and truly action-packed read!

It’s no secret Redemption Road was one of my most anticipated books in 2015 and it was even MORE than I was expecting. It was such an exhilarating adventure with a gritty setting. I wanted high stakes and danger and I got that — shoot-outs, notoriously vicious gangs, mayhem, secrets, lies and of course romance.

Katie Ashley really did an awesome job in illustrating the gritty feel of life of MC clubs. When the characters were in danger, I believed it. The ruthlessness I expected? Totally there. Katie created a world of grit and chaos and it lived up to what it was set up to be.

And as always, I enjoyed Katie’s writing. She’s got a way with words, and there were so many sentences worth highlighting. I love that her characters feel real, even when they’re unlikeable. They make mistakes, they hurt the people they love, they lie, they’re selfish…but I love them. Because it is through their flaws that completely capture what it means to be human. Just like the characters in this book.

I loved Rev’s voice and even from the first book, I could immediately see his spunk and spirit. He’s such a tough, strong character… but I enjoyed that he had moments of vulnerability and weakness.

Katie also introduced me to a heroine I’ll never forget…Annabel Percy. I felt so tied to her emotions – her highs and her lows. I understood her anger, and I was repelled by it. I felt like I was right beside her as she faced the harsh frontier and fought back with every ounce of strength inside her.

And I’d be remiss if I didn’t also mention the romance. This couple earned a spot on my list all-time favorites, but you’ll have to read it for yourself to see why. But one this is for sure…it’s scorching hot!

Overall, Redemption Road was a rip-roaring good read. The tough characters, hunt for revenge, and thrill of the MC life make this worth picking up. If you’re a fan of plot-driven books packed with action and adventure, this book certainly fits the bill. Reading it almost felt like watching a movie because I could totally imagine it as a blockbuster hit with a star-studded cast!
Katie Ashley does it again....Redemption Road, the second in the Vicious Cycle Series, has the reader riveted right from the very revealing prologue to the sweet and perfect ending. From the beginning of this ride we are taken on, we know that the lines between good and bad will be blurred. We know we are going to witness ugly and devastating loss but have hope that the mixing of the good and the bad can overcome all that is ugly.

Let's start with the "good". Annabel Percy loves animals and dreams of being a vet and independent of her family. Her over-bearing and snobbish parents want her to be a debutante. . They are unfit, self-serving parents and she wants nothing to do with their wealthy unloving lifestyle. Annabel decides one night to step out of her normal parent approved activities and throw caution to the wind. She accepts a motorcycle ride from a dark handsome stranger. Not all is as it seems and this one decision will change her life forever.

Rev Malloy is the "bad" boy we first met in Vicious Cycle. Rev is the intellectual brother of Deacon and Bishop Malloy. He has his own deep secret that has molded him into the man he is today. He has done very bad things but always in the name of good. He and his two brothers are elite members of the Raiders MC. Their deceased father started the club and now Rev being the "prez" was trying to legitimize their club. With his brother Deacon away on his honeymoon, Rev is called upon by Breakneck, a fellow MC member and his confidante, to use what ever power necessary to rescue his daughter, Sarah , who was a kidnapped sex slave in Mexico. Breakneck is the club's doctor and has helped and saved many a member including Rev. Rev knows no matter what danger this brings he would do this for his friend.

Here's where we get to the "ugly" . Mendoza is the ugliest scum of the earth. He sells, abuses and rapes young girls he has kidnapped. He is a leader of a Mexican drug cartel and is the devil himself.
He runs the "sex camp" where Sarah is believed to be held. Mendoza is a crazed sociopath who will never allow anyone to take what he thinks is his. I hated him so much I didn't care to find out his first name ...let's call him Douche-o Mendoza.

When Rev and his gang break into the camp to rescue Sarah all hell breaks loose. He stumbles upon a badly beaten Annabel and both their lives change forever. Can Rev and his friends save Annabel's life? Will he be able to heal her with his kind and understanding ways? In turn, can Annabel's love relieve Rev of his nightmares and make her feel whole again? Will this motorcycle club family become her one true family? See I told you...totally riveted!!!

AS Katie Ashley does so perfectly , we are gifted a sexy and dark tale of a knight in shining armor ( really a MC brother riding a motorcycle and wearing a cut) who finds his damsel in distress whom he helps become fearless and who without a second thought will put her life on the line for those she loves. Together they put their victimized pasts behind them to motor cycle off into the sunset to their perfect tomorrow. Riveted!!!!

SO ....as if this story didn't have enough we are also given the gift of little Willow , Rev's six year old niece, who was the spark in Vicious 1 and continues to make you smile in RR. Okay and yes their is a baby doe rescued named Poe that has me wanting to watch Bambi right now!!
